Christmas Reflection Day 1: Jesus came to save us from our sins

Christmas is a time when we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. Jesus came to fulfill His purpose. He came as an answer to our struggles. He came to help us solve the sin problem. He came to complete a mission. He came to fulfill an assignment. He came at the right time. He came so that everyone who believes in Him might live through Him.

Jesus lived up to His name. The meaning of His name is Jehovah is salvation. He is a rescuer. He always answers to His name. No matter where you are today and whatever you are going through, Jesus will answer to you if you call on His name. Remember whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Why don’t you give it a trial and see Jesus come through for you.

Jesus’ purpose is to save us from our sins. So, He came to break the power, control, and dominion of sin from our lives so that we can live. Jesus came on a rescue mission. He came to rescue us from danger, destruction, injury, or peril. He came to relieve us from suffering. He came to make us well. He came to restore us to health. He came to preserve anyone who was in danger of destruction. He came to deliver us from the punishment and penalty of sin.

He came to break the power, control, and dominion of sin from our lives so that we can live

He also came to break the power of sin and give us a new nature. God’s will for us is that we will no longer serve the devil. So, when Jesus came, He ensured that the power of sin was broken over our lives. He made us His own. We no longer belong to the devil.

If you are a Christian today, you need to rejoice because Jesus has come. You need to be grateful because Jesus has rescued, redeemed, and delivered you. You need to celebrate because you are no longer a slave to anyone. You need to be grateful because you belong to God completed.

If you are yet to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you still have that chance today. Please pray this prayer with me:

Heavenly Father, your word says if I confess with my mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead, I will be saved (Rom 10: 10). Today, I confess Jesus is Lord with my mouth and believe that you raised Him from the dead. As a result, I am saved. Thank you for granting me access to your presence. I make Jesus the Lord of my life today. Thank you for saving me. I am now a child of God, a new creation, old things have passed away, and behold all things have become new” in Jesus’ name. Amen!

Please email us so that we can connect with you and help you appropriate this gift of salvation.
