We Believe That Every Child of God Is Lovable
The Word View Church exists with the mandate to raise people who are heavenly conscious and earthly relevant, and we have been running with this mandate since 2020.
The ministry is committed to helping believers reconnect to God and realign their priority. We focus on reminding believers of who they are in Christ: the light of the world and the salt of the earth.
We meet weekly to worship, fellowship, pray, educate, and encourage one another to know God, themselves, and what God has freely given to them. We also provoke one another to good works.
We devote ourselves to serving our generation according to God's will and then spread the good news of the kingdom of God wherever we find ourselves.
Our deepest desire is to bring glory to God in everything we do wherever we are and whosoever we are with.
The Word View Church Tenets of Faith
- We believe that the Scripture—the Old and New Testament—is an inspired and infallible word of God given to His people and it represents the whole counsel of God, reveals His character, His dealings with His people throughout the generations, and is to be used for training believers in righteousness (2Tim 3: 16-17, 2Pt 1: 19- 21, Acts 20: 32, Ps 119: 89)
- We believe in one God who expresses Himself in the person of Jesus Christ and indwells all believers through the Holy Spirit (1Cor 6: 19-21)
- We believe that God created humans in His image and likeness and crowned them with glory and honor to have dominion over all His creations and manage His resources according to His character, desire, will, wisdom, values, and intents (Gen 1: 26-28, Ps 8: 5, Acts 17: 26)
- We believed that our first parents—Adam and Eve—sinned and fell short of the glory of God as a result all people became sinners (Gen 3, (Rom 3: 23; 5: 12- 19)
- We believe that God sent Jesus Christ to the earth to die for the remission of the sin of the world, was raised on the third day, gave us eternal life, and made us new creations in Christ (John 10: 10, Rom 4: 25; 5: 6-10, 16, 18, 21, Lk 24: 47, Acts 5: 31; 11: 18; 20: 21, 2Pt 3: 9)
- We believe that marriage is God’s institution, and is ordained for one man and one woman to live in holy matrimony, reflect the love of God, raise godly children, and expand God’s kingdom on the earth (Gen 2: 19- 25, Mal 2: 15, Mt 19: 4-6, Eph 5: 21-33).
- We believe that every Christian is a steward of God’s blessings and resources and they should use everything He has given them to His glory alone, the expansion of His kingdom and the blessing of humanity (Lk 19: 13)
- We believe that every child of God is part of God’s family and should endeavor to gather together regularly with other believers without any form of discrimination, harassment, and intimidation for sound doctrine, worship, prayer, fellowship, and the breaking of bread (Acts 2: 42-47; Heb 10: 24-25)
- We believe that the church is the body of Christ and the pillar of God’s truth on the earth (1Tim 3: 15, 1Cor 12: 27, Eph 1: 19-23, Col 1: 18; 2: 17-19)
- We believe that Jesus Christ will return to judge the living and the dead. and He will establish a new heaven and a new earth. He will bring about a final and complete redemption for all creation and will reward the righteous and the wicked (2The 1: 7-10, 2Pt 3: 10, Jude 14, Rev 1: 8; 3: 11).
